Wrapped in Love Quilts are memory quilts for all occasions with Hospice patients having priority. Wrapped in Love Quilts was created after I learned a friend of mine had terminal cancer. I knew how much she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. I didn't know what to say to her when I received the news of her cancer so I came up with a way for her to wrap the love of her family around her. I created a photo quilt of all her loved ones along with her grandchildren's handprints on the back. She called it her faithful companion. Sue Liston passed away on October 31, 2007. During the year 2008 I created many quilts for hospice patients and persons that needed a little extra love wrapped around them. As you view the quilts and read the stories about them, starting with Sue's(2008-#1), you will see what a rewarding journey I have been on. The quilts are a beautiful way to express love when words seem inadequate. Needless to say, I feel very blessed to be able to help others. #22 John Hyden pillows


My friend Joyce and her sister Jeanne lost their father recently. He always loved celebrating his 4th of July birthday. A mutual friend of ours (Faith) and I made pillows for them to help ease the loss they will be feeling today.
Joyce and Jeanne were so surprised and thrilled to receive their pillows. They loved them. Jeanne said "......my pillow is in my living room, in a chair that daddy gave me, that belonged to his mother...."
I am so fortunate to be able to create gifts that will be cherished.
