This is my story........

Wrapped in Love Quilts are memory quilts for all occasions with Hospice patients having priority. Wrapped in Love Quilts was created after I learned a friend of mine had terminal cancer. I knew how much she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. I didn't know what to say to her when I received the news of her cancer so I came up with a way for her to wrap the love of her family around her. I created a photo quilt of all her loved ones along with her grandchildren's handprints on the back. She called it her faithful companion. Sue Liston passed away on October 31, 2007. During the year 2008 I created many quilts for hospice patients and persons that needed a little extra love wrapped around them. As you view the quilts and read the stories about them, starting with Sue's(2008-#1), you will see what a rewarding journey I have been on. The quilts are a beautiful way to express love when words seem inadequate. Needless to say, I feel very blessed to be able to help others. #18 Boshoffs

Quilt in the works. My good friend Patty Hofer is making a trip of a lifetime to the Kalahari Desert. She will be staying with the Boshoffs whom she has come to love during their long distance friendship over the last year. You can follow her journey on her blog at http://www.boshoffs-patty.blogspot.com/. She will be taking many photos while she is there. When she returns, we will go through her pictures to find the right ones for a quilt to send the Boshoffs showing her love and appreciation for this opportunity.
