This is my story........

My photo
Wrapped in Love Quilts are memory quilts for all occasions with Hospice patients having priority. Wrapped in Love Quilts was created after I learned a friend of mine had terminal cancer. I knew how much she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. I didn't know what to say to her when I received the news of her cancer so I came up with a way for her to wrap the love of her family around her. I created a photo quilt of all her loved ones along with her grandchildren's handprints on the back. She called it her faithful companion. Sue Liston passed away on October 31, 2007. During the year 2008 I created many quilts for hospice patients and persons that needed a little extra love wrapped around them. As you view the quilts and read the stories about them, starting with Sue's(2008-#1), you will see what a rewarding journey I have been on. The quilts are a beautiful way to express love when words seem inadequate. Needless to say, I feel very blessed to be able to help others. #12 Grandma Dot

Happy Mother's Day
Grandma Dot............

Grandma Dot's daughter Gert wanted to give her Mom a special gift this Mother's Day. This quilt represents all the love, fun and appreciation of her family. Grandma Dot is simply a woman filled with love and determination to live. A couple years ago she had a heart attack and has survived cancer twice. Happy Mother's Day Grandma Dot!
Sunday, April 26th Gert could not wait to give the quilt to her Mom. Here are her comments:
Oh my gosh, Lynn... she LOVED IT! She is planning to take it to work tomorrow and in a couple weeks when we fly to Ohio for my cousin's wedding, she's taking it with her then too. Wow... she absolutely loves it! So cool! She says to tell you hello and thank you!
