This is my story........

My photo
Wrapped in Love Quilts are memory quilts for all occasions with Hospice patients having priority. Wrapped in Love Quilts was created after I learned a friend of mine had terminal cancer. I knew how much she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. I didn't know what to say to her when I received the news of her cancer so I came up with a way for her to wrap the love of her family around her. I created a photo quilt of all her loved ones along with her grandchildren's handprints on the back. She called it her faithful companion. Sue Liston passed away on October 31, 2007. During the year 2008 I created many quilts for hospice patients and persons that needed a little extra love wrapped around them. As you view the quilts and read the stories about them, starting with Sue's(2008-#1), you will see what a rewarding journey I have been on. The quilts are a beautiful way to express love when words seem inadequate. Needless to say, I feel very blessed to be able to help others. #3 Caitlin

Caitlin is a beautiful little girl that just found out she has a brain tumor. During the time she is undergoing radiation, her body is going to need lots of rest. This quilt has lots of pictures of family and friends so she can wrap them around her during this difficult time.

The bright cheerful colors and Tinkerbell will hopefully help keep her spirits up.

NOTE: Caitlin's aunt, Holly, said Caitlin and her family were speechless and so grateful for the quilt. There are no words to describe the difficulty the family is going through at this time. Please say a prayer for them.
