Wrapped in Love Quilts are memory quilts for all occasions with Hospice patients having priority. Wrapped in Love Quilts was created after I learned a friend of mine had terminal cancer. I knew how much she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. I didn't know what to say to her when I received the news of her cancer so I came up with a way for her to wrap the love of her family around her. I created a photo quilt of all her loved ones along with her grandchildren's handprints on the back. She called it her faithful companion. Sue Liston passed away on October 31, 2007. During the year 2008 I created many quilts for hospice patients and persons that needed a little extra love wrapped around them. As you view the quilts and read the stories about them, starting with Sue's(2008-#1), you will see what a rewarding journey I have been on. The quilts are a beautiful way to express love when words seem inadequate. Needless to say, I feel very blessed to be able to help others. #31 Abby

Abby's daddy had surgery a couple weeks ago and is in critical condition. This quilt will hopefully help bring comfort to Abby while her Daddy is in the hospital. She is 4 years old.
Wednesday, Dec. 23rd is a happy day for Abby and her mother & grandmother! Today her daddy was able to eat broth, sit up on the side of the bed and talk to them. This is the hurdle that the doctors have been hoping for. What a Merry Christmas they will share. Friday, Dec. 25th Abby's daddy was awake to hear he is going to be a daddy again. Still a long road to recovery but they were grateful to be able to share a Merry Christmas.
Jason passed away March 17, 2010.
