Wrapped in Love Quilts are memory quilts for all occasions with Hospice patients having priority. Wrapped in Love Quilts was created after I learned a friend of mine had terminal cancer. I knew how much she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. I didn't know what to say to her when I received the news of her cancer so I came up with a way for her to wrap the love of her family around her. I created a photo quilt of all her loved ones along with her grandchildren's handprints on the back. She called it her faithful companion. Sue Liston passed away on October 31, 2007. During the year 2008 I created many quilts for hospice patients and persons that needed a little extra love wrapped around them. As you view the quilts and read the stories about them, starting with Sue's(2008-#1), you will see what a rewarding journey I have been on. The quilts are a beautiful way to express love when words seem inadequate. Needless to say, I feel very blessed to be able to help others. #23 Tina Crane

Tina's precious five children wanted to give their Mom something special to show their love after losing their brother. Dimitri lost his life in a car accident 2 months ago today. Stephanie did such a good job chosing the pictures and deciding on the colors for her Mom.


This picture is the center of the back of the quilt with a poem Tina wrote to Dimitri. The label is the last picture taken of Tina's precious five as she likes to call them.
