Wrapped in Love Quilts are memory quilts for all occasions with Hospice patients having priority. Wrapped in Love Quilts was created after I learned a friend of mine had terminal cancer. I knew how much she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. I didn't know what to say to her when I received the news of her cancer so I came up with a way for her to wrap the love of her family around her. I created a photo quilt of all her loved ones along with her grandchildren's handprints on the back. She called it her faithful companion. Sue Liston passed away on October 31, 2007. During the year 2008 I created many quilts for hospice patients and persons that needed a little extra love wrapped around them. As you view the quilts and read the stories about them, starting with Sue's(2008-#1), you will see what a rewarding journey I have been on. The quilts are a beautiful way to express love when words seem inadequate. Needless to say, I feel very blessed to be able to help others. #11 Marlo Joyce



Marlo is due to be born the end of this month (June 2010). Her Grandma (Meme) wanted to have a special gift made for her. Marlo's daddy suffered from complications from surgery last fall and unfortunately passed away March 17, 2010. The quilt is all pictures of her daddy. Meme gave the quilt to her daughter at Julie's baby shower. The birth of Marlo at the end of this month will be joyous but also extremely emotional. Please keep the family in your prayers.

Marlo was born beautiful and healthy on June 24, 2010.
