Wrapped in Love Quilts are memory quilts for all occasions with Hospice patients having priority. Wrapped in Love Quilts was created after I learned a friend of mine had terminal cancer. I knew how much she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. I didn't know what to say to her when I received the news of her cancer so I came up with a way for her to wrap the love of her family around her. I created a photo quilt of all her loved ones along with her grandchildren's handprints on the back. She called it her faithful companion. Sue Liston passed away on October 31, 2007. During the year 2008 I created many quilts for hospice patients and persons that needed a little extra love wrapped around them. As you view the quilts and read the stories about them, starting with Sue's(2008-#1), you will see what a rewarding journey I have been on. The quilts are a beautiful way to express love when words seem inadequate. Needless to say, I feel very blessed to be able to help others. #28 Ras, Karin & Willen Boshoff


Patty Hofer met the Boshoff family through the ministry of Forest City Seventh Day Adventist Church and was fortunate enough to travel to their home in Africa for 3 weeks. This is a story quilt that has pictures of Patty's church in Florida broadcasting around the world and pictures of the Boshoff's church where Patty visited. All of the other pictures are the adventures that they shared during her visit. Patty is sending this quilt to them to express the love she has for their family and the wonderful memories they will always share.
