This is my story........

My photo
Wrapped in Love Quilts are memory quilts for all occasions with Hospice patients having priority. Wrapped in Love Quilts was created after I learned a friend of mine had terminal cancer. I knew how much she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. I didn't know what to say to her when I received the news of her cancer so I came up with a way for her to wrap the love of her family around her. I created a photo quilt of all her loved ones along with her grandchildren's handprints on the back. She called it her faithful companion. Sue Liston passed away on October 31, 2007. During the year 2008 I created many quilts for hospice patients and persons that needed a little extra love wrapped around them. As you view the quilts and read the stories about them, starting with Sue's(2008-#1), you will see what a rewarding journey I have been on. The quilts are a beautiful way to express love when words seem inadequate. Needless to say, I feel very blessed to be able to help others. #4 Neighbors

This quilt was made for our neighbors of many years. Patty and Linda lived next door when we bought our home in 1985. Our children were 5 and 10 years old at the time. Needless to say we share many memories with our dear neighbors. We moved away in 2003 but I have always wanted to express to them how much they meant to our family - they were and are part of our family. As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Every picture brings back good memories.
