#5 Terry Berrong

Donna was proud to be a Daddy's Girl. She loved it when her Dad moved to be close to her the last couple years of his life. She was able to care for him to the end with the help of Good Shepherd Home Health & Hospice in Murphy, NC. Her quilt has her favorite pictures of her Dad along with his favorite colors.

NOTE: 3/19/2012 I was fortunate to be able to deliver this quilt to Donna. She cried such happy tears. She was truly a Daddy's girl and will always cherish her quilt.

#4 Angie Osborn

My sister, Cheryll Osborn wishes she could be with her son and daughter-in-law and give them hugs but she is many miles away. She had this quilt made to show the love of all the family in Florida.

Angie, we are hoping the doctors have you on the road to recovery and back home soon.

NOTE:  An anonymous comment received:  I had the opportunity to see this blanket wrapped around Angie.  It is an amazing show of love.  What an amazing gift to give someone to show how you feel about them, especially if you can't be near.  Thanks for sharing.

2/15/2012   Josh called and said Angie loved her quilt.  It will help lift her spirts after all she has been through.  Angie & Josh are such a sweet couple.

#3 Caitlin

Caitlin is a beautiful little girl that just found out she has a brain tumor. During the time she is undergoing radiation, her body is going to need lots of rest. This quilt has lots of pictures of family and friends so she can wrap them around her during this difficult time.


The bright cheerful colors and Tinkerbell will hopefully help keep her spirits up.









NOTE: Caitlin's aunt, Holly, said Caitlin and her family were speechless and so grateful for the quilt. There are no words to describe the difficulty the family is going through at this time. Please say a prayer for them.

#2 Erin Dean

Erin is one tough girl that will NOT let cancer beat her! She is a fighter and has the love of her family and a support team beyond belief.
TNT Maryland is a Team in Training in Maryland that raises money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. TNT furnished the pictures for the quilt and they all signed the back with words of encouragement. Good luck to you Erin!

#1 Ruth Johnson

Ruth was such a delightful lady making many smile as she always had a stuffed animal in her lap and often they wore her glasses. She celebrated her 97th birthday and passed away 3 days later. She was a patient with Good Shepherd Home Health & Hospice.

Her daughter cherishes the last few years that her mother lived with her filled with love, fun and lots of memories. Her quilt is an example of her life, full of love, color, happiness and lots of laughs.



1/2012 Lois loves her quilt. She called to say it beautifully captures her mother's life. She can't wait to take it to Puerto Rico in the spring when she will be visiting her mother's family. Her mother was one of 9 children. Bless you Lois.

3/26/2012 A note from Lois after her trip. I wanted to let you know that your quilt of my mother was a WONDERFUL centerpiece for the party that was held in her honor in Puerto Rico!! All her relatives marveled at the beauty of it! It definitely was the highlight of the party!

#25 Ellen Foskey

September 3, 2005 Dave & Ellen Foskey celebrated renewing their wedding vows with family and friends.




Ellen had this quilt made with pictures of their late parents, their children and grandchildren.

Ellen is excited for Christmas when she will give it to her family. This quilt will be a wall hanging, a beautiful way to show off her family, her treasure.

1/3/2011 Ellen and her family loved the quilt. She said it made Christmas very special and her kids loved the pictures she had chosen of them.

#24 Vivian Wilson

Vivian Wilson is a beautiful woman loved by her family. The love beams from the picture of her and her husband in their early days of dancing, a family portrait with her children and the recent pictures of family including grandchildren and great grandchildren. Vivian is a patient of Good Shepherd Home Health and Hospice in Hayesville, NC. Her daughter told me her favorite colors are blue and yellow and her favorite flowers are pansies. Bless you Vivian and your family.


The bird in the picture on the label was taken by Jessy Garrett Reems. Jessy went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2011. Her quilt was also blue and yellow (#17 2008).

NOTE: 12/25/2011 Note from family: Mother was thrilled! She kept saying "Oh! My...! oh! My!...it's beautiful! We were able to get her to church today in the wheel chair and she kept looking at the blanket and pictures all during service. You really made her Christmas special!!!!
